Carmine Figaro was a Genoese mafioso and head of the Figaro Crime Family. His assassination by associates of Luigi G. Alberghi prompted the disintegration and eventual extinction of the Figaro family.

Under Carmine's leadership, the Figaros came to dominate the agricultural sector of Genoa, controlling local wine and olive presses as well as vineyards, plantations and farms. The Figaros generated considerable ire from the halfling farmer community during this period, and the eventual Second Genoese Revolution would lead to violent overtures for land reform, which were ultimately accommodated.
